The intriguing part of the system is that it was originally created through observation, and developed in the Yellow River reaches of China to manage farming schedules. Therefore each term has their own dedicated agricultural tasks, traditions, customs, and meaning.  

Eventhough the agricutural aspect of this calendar is no longer suitable for most people, but it is important to always remember where foods come from and the people who relied on this calendar, also preserving tradition to maintain the sense of identity and familiarity.
